History
Anchor Spirits wine and liquor shop is located on Lockport Street in the downtown area of Youngstown, New York. The shop features an excellent selection of premium liquors, a large assortment of fine wines and wine accessories. A friendly helpful staff is always on hand to serve you. Please stop in and visit!
The site of the store at 113 Lockport Street was the Youngstown, NY United States Post Office from the mid 1950's until 1973. The liquor store on Main Street was relocated to this site and has operated almost continuously throughout the years, first as Yankee Spirits and then in 2003 as Anchor Spirits.
The original oak and pebbled translucent glass postal service facade - complete with stamps, general delivery, and registry service windows with wrought iron bars, mail drops and the Postmaster office door, make up the interior back wall of the store.
Large variety to choose from
Featuring wines from the local Niagara Wine Trail Wineries, New York State Wines, and a large assortment of spirits and fine wines from around the world. New additions and special offerings are added monthly.
