Company history

   

The site of the store at 113 Lockport Street was the Youngstown, NY  United States Post Office from the mid 1950's until 1973. The liquor store on Main Street was relocated to this site and has operated almost continously throughout the years, first as Yankee Spirits and then in 2003 as Anchor Spirits.

 

The original oak and pebbeled translucent glass postal service facade - complete with stamps, general delivery, and registery service windows with wrought iron bars, mail drops and the Postmaster office door, make up the interior back wall of the store.
